Biography
Professor Inhee Mook-Jung is a leading Neuroscientist in Korea. She has been working on Alzheimer¡¯s disease (AD) pathogenesis with various research tools including live cell imaging and two photon microscopy in live animals. She published more than 172 SCI papers and 20 patents. Her main focus for AD research is how A¥â and tau affect normal physiology of cells (neuron, microglia, astrocyte, endothelial cells of BBB) in the brain. Also, she is interested in the crosstalk between peripheral immune system and CNS in the presence of A¥â and tau. In addition, she has been studied therapeutic targets as well as blood biomarker for early detection of AD in collaboration with clinical experts.
